| Course description | Inner product spaces, geometric and metric properties of Hilbert spaces, orthogonal expansions and projections in Hilbert spaces. Bounded linear functionals and operators, compact operators on Hilbert spaces. The spectral theorem for selfadjoint compact operators. |
