| Course description | The course is designed to demonstrate and illustrate the utility and importance of sedimentology in understanding geological evolution, inferring past environments and reconstructing tectonic histories. This year it will consist of a three-session course designed to focus on the role of volcanism and volcaniclastic sedimentation using subduction-related marginal basins as case histories. |
