      The following leaning outcomes are planned: 
	        - Learning how to integrate information and data from various sources into a coherent framework that helps them design problem-based investigations. - Visualising and applying this information to natural settings and at different scales in order to facilitate prediction. - Gaining an appreciation of the link between theory and technology in order to develop a practical approach to problem solving. - Appreciating the impact of human activities on the near-surface environment and learning how to develop strategies for sustainable use of the environment.
