        Gender and Justice (LY0006)? Credit Points : 40 ? SCQF Level : 10 ? Acronym : LAW-3-LY0006 The aim of this course is to examine gender issues as they relate to law and legal process. Students are introduced to contemporary theories of masculinity and femininity and encouraged to think critically about the relevance of debates in this field to understanding the nature and function of law and legal systems. Four themes will be covered, not more than two of which will be offered in any given year (to be announced in advance): legal theory; civil justice; criminological theory; and criminal justice.
