 Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
      Students will have been introduced to: 
	        - techniques and approaches used in transcribing and editing music; - issues in the researching and transcription of archival documents; - methodologies of the new musicology of the late 20th century; - experimental design; - preparation and delivery of public presentations. Also, students will be prepared to research and write an undergraduate dissertation on a musical topic or prepare a creative portfolio. Assessment Information
      One coursework literature review c.4,000 words (50%), one report on an independent/group research task (20%) and one detailed proposal for either a dissertation or creative portfolio (30%).
