Acronym : PPL-3-SL-LI This course surveys the ways in which computational models have been used to advance linguistic theory. In particular, the course focuses on how models have been used to examine language learning, language change, and language evolution. Although its subject is computational modelling, this course does not require prior computational or mathematical training. Entry Requirements? Pre-requisites : Linguistics 2 (U00577) or equivalent ?
