Summary	The course allows candidates to design, plan, execute and write-up high-level research based on knowledge and skills acquired in taught course-delivered elements of the programme. In addition, much learning on skills, methods and acquisition of knowledge will occur through undertaking the dissertation research. The dissertation gives candidates an opportunity to undertake novel research under the supervision of a qualified academic member of staff. Additional academic staff and industry or public sector experts may be drawn upon as advisors to support the candidate.
