SummaryThis course provides the principles of performance-based design of buildings for fire safety. It focuses on the use of analytical and numerical tools in the estimation of performance of fire safety systems. Advanced systems are introduced to establish modern approaches to fire safety engineering. The approach will be applied using a real case study. Guest lectures from various industrial partners will be included.
