Summary | Transition to Degree Study is a specially-designed bridging course for students applying for degrees in Humanities and Social Science subjects through Credit for Entry. Offered over the academic year, it provides an opportunity for students to reflect on their development as learners and to prepare for the learning, teaching and assessment environment that they will encounter on undergraduate degrees.

Course description |
Transition to Degree Study will cover study skills for university, including referencing, examination skills and oral presentation skills.
It will include face to face classes and online sessions.
Its assessments are designed to prepare students for two forms of assessment that they are likely to encounter as undergraduates: formal examinations and oral presentations on an academic topic.
