This course will study a selection of American texts which achieve this difficult feat, from Edith Wharton's 'The House of Mirth', through Steinbeck's 'Of Mice and Men' and Hemingway's 'For Whom the Bell Tolls', and finishing with Truman Capote's 'Breakfast at Tiffany's¿. |
