Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Critically understand the epidemiology of the global burden of disease attributable to mental disorders and the multi-level determinants of mental wellbeing in a population, including the importance of stigma
- Appraise the evidence for interventions for mental health conditions in the global context
- Identify and apply an appropriate strategy for improving mental health in a population and understand the challenges and limitations involved
