* Prioritising funding in health systems
* Disease burden and health inequalities
* The impact of donor funding of health programmes on health systems in the developing world and the difference in vertical and sectoral approaches
* The role of primary health care in access to the health system, disease surveillance and control
* The different implications of private versus public funding for health care
