| Summary | The course will explore the diverse possibilities for collaboration with the creative arts in the context of science engagement; for example, storytelling, drama, Creative Non-Fiction and visual art. Students will explore different approaches, processes and perspectives which can be realised through collaborative working between artists and scientists and, in certain contexts, the involvement of audiences in the co-creation of multidisciplinary works.

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- An appreciation of and ability to apply different approaches, processes, perspectives and practices from the disciplines of creative arts to science engagement contexts.
- A critical understanding of the ethos and approach to interdisciplinary working between science engagement and creative arts.
- Creatively and effectively reflect on the tools and techniques of oral story-telling practice in a science communication context.
- An ability to critically synthesise previous learning with regards to diverse audiences, different learning and engagement styles and diverse motivations for engagement in a creative arts context.
