SummaryThis course allows you to develop a detailed design for a landscape architecture brief and prepare construction details to communicate aspects of its implementation. The course provides training and application of skills that will allow you to prepare detailed designs and landscape construction details. It will also develop your digital drawing skills through the use of appropriate computer generated graphics and tools.
Course description This course builds on ARCH08037 Landscape Architecture Techniques 1 and introduces technical understanding of the materiality of built environment projects. It allows you to develop an understanding of the implementation and detailed design consideration of landscape architecture in three dimensions and communicate a package of information via digital techniques. This course is taught by a series of lectures, interactive workshops using physical models, digital information packaging tutorials and design studio. The combination of this range of academic exploration is designed to reflect the way landscape architects develop designs to detail in a professional context. These combined activities will contribute to a final design based output in the form of a package of landscape construction drawings.
