Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- understand a television or radio programme, or a lecture in Russian, including understanding of socio-cultural contexts
- discuss, in a sophisticated way, the subject matter of these presentations
- use a broad palette of Russian vocabulary with a high degree of grammatical accuracy in fluent and spontaneous discussion
- produce a clear, complex sophisticated presentation on a complex cultural, literary, linguistic, socio-political or other subject, which develops argument both critically and systematically
- take part efficiently in a discussion of the above topics in fluent Russian
