Notes:
Students wishing to pursue qualification to progress towards legal practice in Scotland should note the courses required as indicated in the Degree Programme Table for the LLB Honours (years 1 and 2).

Notes:
Entry into Honours normally requires (i) passes in all six subjects taken in the first two years, and (ii) a mark of 50% or above in French 2. The 3rd year comprises at least 30 weeks spent in the relevant country and prescribed work in Law and the relevant language in an approved establishment

Notes:
Students wishing to progress towards legal practice should note that passes in the following courses are required to qualify as a solicitor in Scotland: Delict, Public Law and Individual Rights, Business Entities, Evidence and Criminal, Property, Commercial, Succession and Trust Law. All 80 credits of optional courses can therefore be drawn from Law Level 08 courses.

Year 3 Academic year: 2017/18, Starting in: August

Notes:
(i) Students should normally have passed all courses (240 credits) in the first two years before the second year resit diet, and have achieved a mark of 50% or above in French 2 at the first attempt.

The 3rd year comprises at least 30 weeks spent in the relevant country and prescribed work in Law and the relevant language in an approved establishment. From 14/15 students will take the distance learning version of Advanced Legal Methods.

The final degree for LLB Law and French will be classified on 8 equally weighted units of assessment (160 credits):1. (Language Paper 1) 2. (Language paper 2) 3. (Oral) 4. (Language Option) 5-6 (Law course/s or Law Dissertation) 7-8 (Law course/s).
