Summary | The course on Human Cognitive Neuroscience will enable Master students to develop an insight into the current areas of major theoretical concern within the discipline of Cognitive and Clinical Neuropsychology. In addition, the course will give Master students knowledge of how experimental studies of patients with brain diseases and brain damage contribute to the understanding of human cognition. There will also be an examination of how theories of human cognition can be applied to the understanding of important aspects of pathological brain. |
Course description |
This course will examine the issue of double dissociations within different areas of cognition, including hemi-inattention, dysexecutive syndromes, apraxias and amnesias syndromes.
