Summary | This course is the dissertation element of the MSc programme in Offshore Renewable Energy, available as an exit route from the EngD in Offshore Renewable Energy. The students will do a substantive project-based research dissertation on a topic relevant to offshore renewable energy and generate a thesis detailing their results. |
Course description |
Dissertation work begins after the teaching programme, with the topic selected and agreed with the allocated supervisor. At the end of June students submit an interim report, in which they present their plans for Dissertation work and expected outcome. The dissertation thesis should be submitted at the end of August. The students are also interviewed by the external examiner, internal examiner and the supervisor, which is the final part of the Dissertation project.
