Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. Describe different enzyme reaction mechanisms
  2. Understand the importance of structural biology in enzyme function and be able to explore enzyme binding sites in 3D structures using Pymol.
  3. Appreciate the interrelationships between metabolic pathways.
  4. Search and extract data from enzyme databases; and critically evaluate and manipulate primary published kinetic and structural data.
  5. Be able to research, design, prepare and present an informative and creative scientific poster
