Course description |
This course is the third element of the Advanced Arabic courses taken by students at the end of year one of Middle Eastern Studies with Advanced Arabic degree programme. Following an assessment on arrival students will be placed in a class at an appropriate level at an approved language institute in the Arab world (currently Cairo, Amman or Bir Zeit) for ca. 12 weeks. Classes will focus on the 4 language skills in Modern Standard Arabic.

On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- improve their Arabic language skills and increase their knowledge of Arab culture and society.
