Summary | The course will be divided into 5 sessions, each lasting a week. Most sessions will contain written materials and presentations, accompanied by guided reading in the form of links to journal articles with problem-based learning questions.
Discussion of the content and reading materials will be posted to an online forum, along with students¿ answers to the PBL questions.
Students will be expected to produce a 2500 word essay by the end of the course.

Course description |
Successfully implementing eHealth projects depends on managing behavioural and attitudinal change in the intended users and the organisations in which they work. This course highlights the importance of understanding organisational contexts, workflows and routines, as well as user cultures and preferences, when designing and planning eHealth projects. It introduces key theories and methods from the social and management sciences relevant to process redesign, change management and effective project leadership, drawing on examples from the eHealth sector. Later weeks focus on real projects involving the of eHealth technologies in high and how income settings and what these tell us about the need to actively manage and evaluate change.
