Summary | A compulsory course for MEL Single Honours in Italian and MEL+OSNAL (Other Subject Not A Language) students, which carries 10 credits and aims at improving students' grasp of a variety of Italian idioms, registers and styles, as well as enhancing the ability to convey them appropriately into English.
Class activities will include summary translation, polished translation, and comparative analysis of published translations. Selected Italian texts will be analysed and discussed in groups and collectively during the class hour.
