| Summary | Students must gain an overall pass of 50% or above at interim assessment in order to proceed to dissertation. Candidates who gain between 40% and 49% at interim assessment will be awarded the Diploma.
The dissertation will be 15,000 words in length (excluding the bibliography).
Students will receive regular supervision and will be expected to liaise regularly with their supervisor and submit material for comment at agreed times. Supervisors will not read and comment on full drafts of the dissertation. |

All students will receive a detailed feedback from their Course Organiser/Programme Director on their outlines within 10 days. They will be able to make an appointment with the Course organiser to discuss their conceptual framework and to receive an oral feedback on their theoretical approaches and findings.
Their dissertations will be marked by 2 members of staff who will provide them with a detailed feedback. The External Examiner will also provide his/her comments after finalising the mark. All dissertations are marked within the common LLC schedule. |
