Students with a background in chemistry, physics, computer science or Informatics will also be considered, and those iwth other scientific or medical backgrounds should contact the Course Organiser. |

Learning Outcomes
Students will have the basic knowledge necessary to prepare a grant application to one of the Research Councils. This will involve reviewing the relevant literature in a particular area of science, proposing a topic that will form the basis of a research project and then prepare a series of experimental protocols designed to investigate the topic.
