SummaryThis project asks you to research and interrogate the work you will undertake in the Advanced Sustainable Design Project. It asks you to test your design proposals using a rigorous methodology of your devising based on the software tools available, and to consider how this testing procedure can be used to amend and refine the design in the light of your research findings, as an integrated process.

The course in many ways reflects a tension between creativity found in architectural design process and the predicted measurable performance of your proposal. Advanced sustainable Design Elaboration is an opportunity for you to test your design propositions for example in terms of energy consumption, carbon emissions and thermal comfort.
