Additional Information (Assessment) Submit a proposal in week 2 for discussion with the course coordinator. Submit a draft for review and feedback in week 6 of the course. The final submission will be 5,000 words of text (100%).

On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. Write, present and converse knowledgably and critically on current social, cultural and theoretical issues
  2. Compare and evaluate different theoretical positions
  3. Critically evaluate texts and arguments

  5. Demonstrate detailed familiarity with at least 6 key texts in the areas of media and culture
