Must be passed at grade C, or above, or equivalent to progress to MSc.

Students must pass all learning outcomes. The aggregation of failed Learning outcomes with passing learning outcomes to generate an overall pass mark is not permitted. Failure of one learning outcome will result in a Forced Fail (FF) outcome. Students are permitted two attempts to pass this course.

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. fulfil the requirements of a design brief arising from professional experience.
  2. respond creatively to the brief beyond the satisfaction of functional & technical requirements.
  3. relate design development & intentions to relevant principles & theories of landscape architecture.

Indicative Bibliography
Students will be required to underpin their individual project with a self-directed selection of texts which inform their design. However reference can also be made to texts used in stage 1 & 2 History & theory modules.
