Summary | This module will consider why most organisms have some kind of sexual reproduction. Topics include: the evolution of distinct males and females, and their proportions; sex determination; the evolution of diploidy; inbreeding vs outbreeding; sexual selection and mate choice; and the interaction between mating systems and ecology. |
