Summary | This module will explore principles of good practice and the link between effective practice based upon social work values and research based principles of effective practice and their link to positive outcomes with clients. This module will critically examine a variety of models and methods used in individual and group work, and their application with a variety of clients. The importance of intervention choices being based on effective assessment, the role of the worker client relationship, multi- agency/professional work and evaluating outcomes will be explored. |

To develop a critical understanding of the principles of effective practice.
