Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Research material on a given topic outwith the scope of your standard course work using library and on-line facilities and other resource materials.
- Work as a team to gather and combine material from a wide range of sources.
- Hold formal team meetings and maintain minutes of such meetings.
- Prepare your researched material as a review article written at a level readily understood by a person with a general physical science background.
- Present this same material in the form of a short oral presentation, as if at a conference, and respond to questions relating to this material.
