Summary | This course explores topics in normative ethics and political philosophy. These may include theories of the good, the relationship between what is right and what is good, utilitarian ethics, Kantian ethics, virtue ethics, moral responsibility, the nature of freedom, Rawls.
The specific topics vary from year to year. The course is designed to complement prior undergraduate work in Moral and Political Philosophy and it can be taken concurrently with any of the MSc courses in moral and political philosophy.
For 2014-15, the topic of the course will be well-being/welfare
