Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. Students will be able to research the literature and gather background information on the problems and fields that the research project involves.
  2. Students will develop written and oral presentation skill that will allow them to discuss existing results and present new findings
  3. Students will gain practical experience in designing and executing experiments in order to solve a particular biological problem using sound scientific principals
  4. Students will learn to organize and plan their time in order to carry out an agreed program of work in a constrained time frame
  5. Students will practice using a range of bioinformatics skills, including those taught as part of the course along with project-specific skills.
