Candidates will be asked to synthesise the knowledge gained during the first two years of the course to critique and design an e-Protocol. This will be a detailed and practical design of a clinical trial based on material provided, which will also include writing an ethics application. The e-Protocol will adhere to accepted industry and regulatory standards and will be a maximum of 6000 words long.
In addition, candidates will be expected to produce an e-Poster where they will be asked to translate the findings of a clinical trial for presentation to their peers in the form of a conference poster. This will consist of approximately 1000 words plus appropriate graphics and illustrations.
Finally, candidates will be expected to produce a reflective account of their experience throughout the course. This will show how they plan to apply new knowledge of clinical trial design and delivery in practice. This will be a maximum of 3500 words. |
