Summary	This is a for-credit course offered by the Office of Lifelong Learning (OLL); only students registered with OLL should be enrolled. The Victorian poets form a varied and marvellous group. We will explore the black humour of Browningżs dramatic monologues, the heroic achievements and doubts of Tennyson, the ecstatic experiments of Gerard Manley Hopkins, along with reflections on society and empire by Clough, Meredith, and Kipling.
