Course description |
A key aim of the course is to review the causes and consequences of the financial and economic crisis that engulfed the global economy in 20087-8, and the impact this had on the Eurozone. In particular we will examine the nature of the sovereign debt crisis, and the policy changes implemented to address that crisis. Finally the course will review the regulatory lessons learned from this episode and consider the adequacy of the regulatory responses in (and beyond) the Eurozone.
