Learning Outcomes
1 - critically evaluate research literature relevant to their chosen research topic, and use it to justify the design choices for their proposed research;
2 - develop a structured research proposal for investigating a well-defined hypothesis, together with a schedule for meeting research milestones;
3 - carry out independent research that demonstrates an advanced level of knowledge and understanding in the field of study;
4 - write a dissertation which is a satisfactory record of the research that was carried out.
