Learning Outcomes
By the end of the module course members should be able to:
1. Be critically aware of the theoretical principles, processes and conditions underpinning interpersonal skills within education;
2. Be aware of leadership roles within the class, within teams of colleagues and across the school;
3. Analyse critically consultative and collaborative approaches and the process of change in education;
4. Apply this analysis through practising and reviewing a range of skills that are intrinsic to humanistic interpersonal relationships, in an educational context;
5. Develop and evaluate their strategies for working in partnership with students, colleagues, parents and other professionals as part of their professional role;
6. Use research and literature critically in linking practice to theory.
