- Take a systematic history from a patient
- Conduct a thorough extra- and intra-oral examination in a manner which is appropriate to the age and presentation of the patient
- Discuss the Ionising radiation regulations
- List the appropriate radiographic techniques
- Appropriate investigation leading to a clinical diagnosis
