SummaryThis course is designed to review the management skills required for the lead clinician in a primary dental care clinic. It will review leadership skills, team-working and communication skills. It will also update knowledge about managing health and safety, including cross infection control, within the clinical environment. Elements of financial management and business planning will be included.

Pre-requisites Students MUST have passed: Introduction to Clinical Evidence (DENT11105) AND Diagnosis and treatment planning (DENT11106) AND Direct Restorations (DENT11107) AND Occlusal management of the restored natural dentition (DENT11108) AND Endodontics in Primary Dental Care (DENT11109) AND Periodontal Management in Primary Dental Care (DENT11110) AND Indirect Restoration (DENT11111) AND Restoration of the Endentulous space (DENT11112)

¿ To begin development of the principles of self-evaluation in restorative procedures
