Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. demonstrate familiarity with a branch of Gaelic literature which is sometimes overlooked;
  2. demonstrate an understanding of the problems surrounding such issues as genre, orality, metrical and musical form, and popular literature;
  3. show competence in transferable skills, e.g. critical evaluation of source material, independent reading, coherent and clearly structured writing, oral presentation, group discussion, time management.
