Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- demonstrate an understanding of the way linguists approach problems in the description of ancient Hebrew
- exhibit a detailed understanding of classical Hebrew syntax
- translate ancient Hebrew texts into English, and defend their translation choices
- offer an historical perspective on the Hebrew language before the turn of the era
