Summary | A research or practical project which explores an aspect (of the student's choice) of science communication/public engagement to be disseminated in a dissertation of 12,000 words. |
Course description |
There are a range of project opportunities available i.e. from research based projects and /or practical projects. The project supervisor will undertake to instruct students on the analysis and research methods required for the project and this approach is consistent with their approach for students (on other programmes undertaking a Masters dissertation) with no previous knowledge of social science/science education research methodologies. The project will draw on the aggregated learning outcomes of the programme and students will develop, with supervision, a science communication activity or area of research which they will analyse and reflect upon in a 12,000 word dissertation.
