Reading List
The Recommended Textbook for the course is Essential Reproduction by M.H. Johnson
(6th edition, 2007; Blackwell Science, 328 pages). Copies are available from the main library, Little France or the Darwin Library.
Other Useful Books:
The Darwin Library has copies of two other recent books in the reserve section:
¿ Human Reproductive Biology by RE Jones & KH Lopez (3rd edition 2006; Academic Press, £46.99; 624 pages).
¿ The Reproductive System at a Glance by L.J. Heffner and DJ Schust (2006; Blackwell Science, £18.99; 122 pages). This is more superficial and is intended as a revision aid for medical students. (The previous edition was Human Reproduction at a Glance by L.J. Heffner; 2001).
The Darwin Library also contains other useful textbooks. For example:
¿ The Physiology of Reproduction by E. Knobil & J.D. Neill. An authoritative reference source.
