Summary | Students will be required to spend a total of 30 weeks attending university in Japan and following a programme of approved study. They will normally participate in an exchange with one of our partner universities in Japan, where Japanese language classes for foreign students will form part of the curriculum. The course aims to enable students to deepen their knowledge and understanding of Japanese language (developing their skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening) and culture through living and studying in Japan. |

The credits for this course are taken in year 3, but will be examined through Japanese language coursework and examinations in year 4. The credits will be allocated as follows:
Japanese 4 Oral: 20 credits
Japanese Language 4A: 30 credits
Japanese Language 4B: 30 credits |
