Course description |
Each year, three themes in contemporary theory and practice are identified for group research. The themes focus your consideration of contemporary art's increasingly diverse subject-matter, geographies,ecologies and processes.
Crits and tutorials help you to critically re-assess your working methods and practices and to re-conceptualise and present your work in relation to this rapidly expanding field.

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Prepare for and make constructive contributions to tutorials, crits and seminars focusing on the field of contemporary art.
- Critically re-assess, develop and re-structure your working methods, demonstrating a creative and original response to new problems and issues within the discipline.
- Regularly present the results of your research for the scrutiny of your tutors and peers demonstrating a critical understanding of the principal theories and current issues in contemporary art practice.
