Course description |
Students are expected to build on existing skills and research and may choose workshops and supervisors to help them achieve their outcomes. Syllabus and course content will be determined by the student in consulation with his or her course leader. Students will attend group crits and tutorials to help them clarify and consolidate their thinking.
This is the largest Course in terms of Student Effort Hours in the BA Combined Studies and is designed to be identified as a period of focused study, probably taken in the final year of the degree. This focused period of study and the work which is developed should allow students to pull together strands from the degree which are relevant to them, so that they can focus on one major submission.
