Summary | The course aims to develop the student¿s skills in a range of computational methods considered essential for researchers in the animal sciences in the 21st century. These will include data manipulation, analysis of "omics" data, mathematical modelling, epidemiology and advanced bioinformatics. |

- have an understanding of a range of statistical analysis methods;
- be experienced in the use of Minitab for data summary and statistical analysis;
- be familiar with the range of electronic data sources relevant to animal biosciences;
- be experienced in the manipulation of large data sets generated by "omics" studies;
- be experienced in themethods and outcomes of epidemiology genetics.
