Learning Outcomes
Students will apply the knowledge gained from the taught courses to an intellectually demanding research topic of their choice (selected from the choices made available to them).
They will carry out the research either independently or in small groups (with supervision).
They will learn to use research resources (library, internet, advanced engineering computational software) imaginatively to produce meaningful answers to the questions posed in their chosen research.
They will also learn the necessary presentational skills required for demanding research projects in producing their dissertation.
