Pre-requisitesVisiting students should have at least one semester of aural skills training. We will only consider University/College level courses.

Learning Outcomes
Students will develop their listening skills through the aural analysis of a wide range of musical pieces.
Students will acquire a broad knowledge of various elements of musical expression, such as pitch, rhythm, timbre, texture and structure.
Students will be able to aurally recognise various more complex harmonic progressions.
Students will be capable of accurately transcribing more complex melodic and four-part harmonic dictations.
Reading List
There is no compulsory text book for this course. However, published text books and audio resources do exist for ear training, and students are encouraged to discover and to use these for themselves, alongside the course!
