Summary | This course will focus on the international law of human Rights, primarily through looking at the U.N. system including Charter and Treaty bodies as well as looking at the links between International human rights law and other related fields such as International Humanitarian law and International Criminal law. |
Course description |
The programme will include an introduction to human rights law, a thorough grounding in the primary institutions and mains instruments dealing with the international protection of human rights. There will also be some consideration of the links between these institutions and instruments and cognate areas such as international humanitarian law and international criminal law.
